Sun Devils open Nat'l Tourn. with win over Liberty

No. 11 Arizona State opened the 2010 National Tournament with a 7-4 win over No. 6 Liberty on Saturday.

After falling behind 2-0 midway through the first period, and trailing 4-2 heading to the third, the Sun Devils scored five unanswered goals in the final period for the win.

Paul Scola had a hat trick, while Robert Restemayer had a goal and an assist.

Kris Myshak, Mark Chadwick and Tim Hurst also scored.

Marc Shacker had 44 saves in the win.
